I am based in Palo Alto, California (formerly Charlottesville, VA) and
specialize in assignment, sports, action and travel photography. I have
covered a variety of major sporting events including the Super Bowl,
World Series, Stanley Cup Finals, and numerous NCAA championships.

I run CodeReplacements.com an online tool that automatically
generates rosters for sports photographers using Photo Mechanic and other photo editing software (such as Lightroom, Aperature, Photoshop, etc.).
I am a member of the National Press Photographers Assocition (NPPA) and Professional Photographers of America (PPA), an associate member of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) and a SportsShooter senior member.
I earned my Bachelors Degree from the University of Virginia in
Cognitive Science with a concentration in Computer Science and minor
in Astronomy. I then completed my Master of Business Administration
degree with a concentration in Information Systems Management from
George Mason University. I am the Chief Technology
Officer at Stanford Law School.
My interests include cycling, running, skiing, documenting historical markers, and playing the
cello. On the bike, I raced for the University of Virginia's Cycling
Team. As a cellist I have performed with the
Charlottesville-University Symphony Orchestra, the
University-Shenandoah Symphony Orchestra, the Richmond Philharmonic
Orchestra, New Lyric Theatre, Four County Players and Heritage
Repertory Theatre's summer musical productions.
